Teaching
himself early on to play the guitar
while listening to the stylings of
James Taylor, John Denver, and Simon
and Garfunkel, Tony continues to work
on his music and pursue his desire
to share his craft. A lover of all
music genres, Tony enjoys covering
that "new" country sound
with a mix of blues and rock. As a
member of the Collin County Songwriters
Association (CCSA), Tony is starting
to enter the world of songwriting.
As a performer on shows at The Garland
Opry, Live from Collin County, and
trying his luck on the early seasons
of Nashville Star, Tony fronts his
local band FM 544, playing guitar and
singing lead vocals. Sharing the stage
with his band mates at the Plano Balloon
Festival, Blackland Prairie Festival,
fundraisers like Make a Wish Foundation,
JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation),
Innovative Challenges, and Texas Fragile
X, Tony enjoys giving an enjoyable
performance wherever he plays. Even
as a solo player, he enjoys playing
one on one at a local sandwich shop,
and the occasional sports grill or
coffee house. Peace out… |

Bill
started playing the bass guitar at
age 14 after trying out various musical
instruments. He gained experience while

for ten years. Also, Bill has experience
in the music business after working

in playing rock, blues, jazz and country
music. He currently plays bass guitar
for FM 544 and has played at The Plano

| Paul
Doyle |
| |
|
|
Originally
from the Washington, D.C. area, Paul's
early music career includes playing
clubs in Washington, D.C. & Baltimore,
and 4 years as a full-time musician
centered in Philadelphia and its
Tri-State area playing night clubs,
restaurants, dinner clubs, hotels,
etc. in numerous band style configurations.
After moving to Texas, Paul began
part-time employment in Youth Music
ministry playing guitar and bass
for several church musical directors
during the 80's and 90's with occasional
side jobs.
Paul plays acoustic and electric
genres including Folk, Rock, Blues,
Soul, Funk, Pop, Disco, Standards,
Show tunes, Jazz, Big Band Jazz,
(and some country), and will work
on any style to expand his musical
growth.
Though Paul and Tony met each other
in the early 90's and jammed sporadically
together, it wasn't until an unexpected
meeting at a local Plano coffee shop
did they pool their musical talents
together. While Paul's lead guitar
riffs have raised the musicality
of the group to a higher level, his
impact on FM 544's mix of country,
rock, and blue sound, fits the band
to a tee.

Havens |

Theresa
sang her first solo at age three
in a little Methodist church in Raymond,
Iowa. That's all it took to get her
hooked. Singing all throughout her
academic career, in both school and
church, she honed her singing skills
as a soprano with the Oral Roberts
University choir and by taking private
voice lessons. She learned to play
guitar in her early twenties, realizing
it would open up more opportunities
for her to sing.
Theresa has sung with a number of
vocal groups and bands throughout
the years, focusing on blues and
blues/rock. She is an avid Bob Dylan
fan (it's all about the lyrics!)
and counts Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda
Williams, Etta James, and Maylee
Thomas among her influences.
As the newest member of FM 544, she
excited to once again be on stage plying
her craft. |

As a young
at heart, married, family man and dedicated
to his drums, Jeff says that drumming has
always been a part of his life.
Hailing from Houston and now living in Plano,
he got his start at the age of nine, when
a band leader decided to give him a shot
at playing the drums rather than the trumpet.
Jeff's been banging on things ever since.
Jeff's been involved with many bands through
the years, and continues to this day, seeking
out the best musicians to accompany.
He's very excited about the possibilities
of playing with and for the band, Tony Vea
and FM 544. |
